Kondas Centre
The Kondas Centre is an art museum in Viljandi dedicated to outsider art. The museum is named for one of Estonia’s best-known naïve artists, Paul Kondas (1900–1985).
Five exhibition rooms host temporary exhibitions by local and international artists, offering visitors the chance to see a wide variety of art. The Centre also hosts workshops, and a small shop sells souvenirs and works of art.
Interesting fact: Around Viljandi, there are eight large concrete strawberries inspired by Paul Kondas’s painting “The Strawberry Eaters.”
