Kärstna manor
The heart of Kärstna manor received its current appearance at the turn of the 19th century when the young lord of the manor Kurt von Anrep took over the manor. A lovely park surrounds the neoclassical main building
The most famous person to ever own the manor is General Reinhold von Anrep whose successful military career is commemorated by a beautiful classical piece of art erected on the hill of the Kärstna chapel – a bronze lion.
For a long time, the main building of the manor was occupied by a school; today, it is a home to a library and a kindergarten.
You can take a look at the exterior of the manor and the beautiful park at any time. Entrance to the main building must be arranged ahead of time.
