Introduction to Central Estonia DMO*:
The Central Estonia Tourism Organization (DMO) is a collaborative format established for the development of tourism in Viljandi County, Järva County, Tõrva Parish, and Põltsamaa Parish.
DMO partners include the Viljandimaa Development Center, Järvamaa Development Center, Valgamaa Development Agency (representing Tõrva Parish), and Põltsamaa Vallavara Ltd. Our collaborative network encompasses all local municipalities, LEADER groups, tourism businesses, and other organizations and individuals contributing to the tourism environment in the region.

The goal of Central Estonia DMO is to initiate and carry out tourism development activities, coordinate destination marketing, contribute to the networking of tourism businesses, and facilitate the creation of region-specific joint products. To achieve this, we organize roundtable meetings, training sessions, information days, and initiate marketing campaigns. We manage the distribution of tourism information on regional portals and at visitor attractions.
DMO aims to make the tourism attractions in the Central Estonia region accessible to the broader public, with the purpose of increasing the turnover of tourism and accommodation businesses and promoting the local economy. In addition, DMO focuses on the sustainability of the region, meaning that all tourism resources and services are developed in accordance with environmentally friendly principles.
