Tõrva 100 Opera Days
Tõrva 100 Opera Days is a unique cultural event that brings high-level opera and musical experiences to the heart of a small town in Estonia.
On July 3–4, 2026, Tõrva’s central square transforms into a special concert venue where international art, intimate atmosphere, and Southern Estonian nature meet. It is not merely a series of concerts but a holistic experience in which the audience is close to the event, and every moment feels personal.
On Friday, July 3, the works of George Gershwin will be heard – the evening opens with “Rhapsody in Blue,” followed by a concert performance of the opera “Porgy and Bess,” returning to the Tõrva stage for the city’s 100th birthday.
On Saturday, July 4, the James Bond film music gala brings famous hits to the stage, performed by a symphony orchestra and international soloists. All concerts take place in Estonia’s largest, specially built indoor concert hall, offering a high-quality experience independent of the weather. The evenings continue with jazz and DJ music.
Tõrva Opera Days is a hidden gem for those seeking something truly special!
