Lake Viljandi Beach

The shores of Lake Viljandi are an ideal place to spend your summer. The sandy beach and the crystal-clear water of the lake offer excellent opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying various water activities.

There is something for everyone – several ball fields (including beach volleyball), rowing boat rentals, as well as a health field with climbing ladders, slides, hanging trees, and other attractions suitable for children.

Walking or cycling on the 13.5 km-long hiking trail around the lake offers the opportunity to enjoy nature, birdsong, and changing landscapes at every step.
