Villa Maria café/restaurant/cocktail bar

Villa Maria café is located in the respectable historic Gabler Villa, which features art nouveau details and was built in 1909. The building itself as well as its interiors are a pearl that you should enjoy with all your senses!Villa Maria is a hedonistic pearl near the beautiful Viljandi Castle Hills, right next to the St. John’s Church.
Mediterranean kitchen, beautiful views, unforgettable cocktails, smooth music and the vibe of Livonia! Our trump is definitely the wide choice of vegan dishes. Each Friday, we have a DJ. We recommend booking a table for weekends and evenings.
It is good to know that we are located only at a 1-hour drive from Tartu or Pärnu.

Directions to the destination

You can reach us both by walking from the city centre towards the castle hills and along the cobblestone road of Pikk Street. Walking towards the castle hills, you can notice our beautiful large garden and the Villa Maria logo on the façade. Coming along the cobblestone road, look for the sign hanging next to the main door. When coming by car, we recommend driving along Tasuja Avenue, where you will find a parking space and during the summer you can walk directly to our garden. In autumn, winter and spring, the entrance is at the Pikk Street side of the building.
