August Kitzberg (1855-1927) is one of the most famous writers from Viljandi County, where he found inspiration for his works. The museum provides a overview of the Kits family history, Kitzberg’s work and the office of a municipal clerk. You can travel along the paths made famous by the author’s works on foot, by bicycle or by car.
