Permanent exhibition of Voldemar Luht’s wooden horses at the Olustvere Manor

There is an exhibition of about 150 miniature wooden sculptures in the stables of the Olustvere Manor; the statuettes depict horses and people engaged in various activities. This is but a small portion of the life’s work of  the local craftsman Voldemar Luht, who attempted to immortalise these fine animals in wood in addition to breeding them.
The colourful and cheery horse statuettes are full of surprises for children, as well as adults.
An interesting fact:
•The horse master has carved over 500 statuettes.
