Kassisaba Street in Viljandi

Viljandi Old Town is full of secret pathways, which the locals know well but which may go unnoticed by visitors. One of such secrets is Kassisaba Street which was revived by local people in 2016. The street connects important sights of Viljandi – Trepimägi Hill and Pikk Street, at which the oak-tree with a swing is situated as well.

You will find the secret pathway of Kassisaba Street when while at the top of the Trepimägi Hill looking towards the Town Hall, you turn left and walk past the historical Villa Nemwaltz. You will reach Kassisaba via Pikk Street, if you turn left while looking at the oak-tree with a swing.
