Guided tour of the mysteriously wonderful town of Tori
I invite you to discover the town of Tori on the edge of Soomaa National Park – a place of legends and history.
Tori is a true Pärnu County gem. It is mysterious, mystical, and full of surprises. Here lies the famous Tori Hell cave. Folklore says that this was the center of the world; the whole world revolved around Tori’s axis. Let’s step into the depths of hell and listen to ancient stories that come to life.
The town is also home to the dignified Tori Church, which has been restored as a memorial to all victims of the Second World War. History lives on in this peaceful place.
Tori is also known for its horses. It is home to Estonia’s oldest stud farm, where proud Estonian and Tori breed horses have been raised for centuries. The stable complex houses an inspiring museum. Naturally, the horses themselves are there to greet you!
Come and let yourself be captivated by Tori’s stories – this is a journey that will take you along the paths of legends and living history!
